Ham and Apple Brunch Strata
Take your brunch to the next level with layer after layer of ooey gooey cheese, ham and apples stacked sky high.
2 package of Farmland® Cubed Ham
1 tablespoon of cinnamon
1/2 cup of sugar
3 slices of whole-grain bread
4-5 apples quartered, cored, and sliced
1/2 teaspoon of nutmeg
1/4 cup of brown sugar
1/4 cup of flour
2 cups of low-fat milk
3 cups of shredded Cheddar cheese (12 oz)
1. Heat oven to 325°F. Cube bread and place in 13x9x2-inch pan. Layer half the ham and half the cheese on bread.
2. Combine apples, sugar, flour, cinnamon and nutmeg; spread on top of ham and cheese. Beat together eggs, milk and brown sugar; pour over apples.
3. Layer remaining ham and cheese on top. Bake, uncovered, at 325°F for about 60 minutes or until puffy in center. Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
