Cooking Instructions
HALF PORTION
Oven: Heat oven to 325°F. Remove all packaging materials (including clear “button” on bone of ham). Place ham, cut side down, on rack in shallow roasting pan. Add 1/2 cup water to pan and cover tightly with aluminum foil. Heat 18 to 28 minutes per pound or until internal temperature reaches 165°F.
Stovetop: Remove all packaging materials (including clear “button” on bone of ham). Place ham in large stockpot; cover with cold water. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Reduce heat and simmer 2 to 2 1/2 hours or until internal temperature reaches 165°F.
WHOLE PORTION
Oven: Heat oven to 325°F. Remove all packaging materials. Place ham, fat side up, on rack in shallow roasting pan. Add 1/2 cup water to pan and cover tightly with aluminum foil. Heat 23 to 33 minutes per pound or until internal temperature reaches 165°F.
Stovetop: Remove all packaging materials. Place ham in large stockpot; cover with cold water. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Reduce heat and simmer 2 1/2 to 3 hours or until internal temperature reaches 165°F.
